pamaññetha pāpassa na mantaṃ āgamissati
Udabindunipātena udakumbho pi pūrati

Think not lightly of evil, saying, "It will not come to me." Drop by drop is the water pot filled. Likewise, the fool, gathering it little by little, fills himself with evil.
