Evil ⧸ Verse 122

Let no one think lightly of good, saying:
"Twill not come nigh to me":
By drops of water falling
Is the water-pitcher filled;
The sage is filled with goodness,
Though little by little he gather it.
English translation by Albert Edmunds, from Hymns of the Faith (Dhammapada) (1902).
