Yassa accantadussīlyaṃ māluvā sālamivotataṃ
Karoti so tathattānaṃ yathā naṃ icchatī diso

As the creeper (maluva) strangle the sal tree, so also, a really immoral person (overwhelmed by Craving) does to himself just what his enemy wishes him to do.
