Porāṇametaṃ atula netaṃ ajjatanāmiva
Nindanti tuṇhimāsīnaṃ nindanti bahubhāṇinaṃ
Mitabhāṇimpi nindanti natthi loke anindito

This is an ancient saying, Atula, it is not just one from the present time:
They will find fault in one who sits quietly.
They will find fault in one who is garrulous.
They will find fault even in one who speaks in moderation.
Accordingly, there isnt anyone in the world
that they cant fault in some way.
