Yenicchakaṃ yatthakāmaṃ yathāsukhaṃ
Tadajjahaṃ niggahessāmi yoniso

Formerly this wandering mind wandered
where it wished, where whim, where pleasure led. Wisely this day will I restrain it
as trainer with hook an elephant in rut.
