Thirst ⧸ Verse 336

When one oercometh this vile Thirst,
So hard to conquer in the world,
Sorrows from him fall off,
As a water-drop from a lotus.
English translation by Albert Edmunds, from Hymns of the Faith (Dhammapada) (1902).
