Na taṃ daḷhaṃ bandhanamāhu dhīrā
Yadāyasaṃ dārujaṃ babbajañca
Sārattarattā maṇikuṇḍalesu

That which is made of iron, wood or hemp, is not a strong bond, say the wise; the longing for jewels, ornaments, children, and wives is a far greater attachment.
