Yathāpi bhamaro pupphaṃ vaṇṇagandhaṃ aheṭhayaṃ
Paḷeti rasamādāya evaṃ gāme munī care

the blossom,
its color,
its fragrance —
takes its nectar & flies away:
so should the sage
go through a village.
